Ideas vs. Beliefs
Formless and firm.
The strict ideals one steadfastly reports to fall short of the flexibility of ideas. The ideas versus beliefs argument favors ideas because of the water-like characteristics they employ. Water can defeat the rock, just like ideas can defeat old beliefs. Yet water can be firm when necessary, like the idea. One must hesitate before speaking "I believe" in order to evaluate the stability of the statement, lest they be toppled by a well stated idea.
